I am hoping and wishing for a home for Baby, who is positive for felv.
Baby was rescued while living outdoors with a feral colony. She was extremely sick and thin, and had been for some time.
She was obviously owned at one time and dumped or abandoned, to survive on her own.
She is approx 5 yrs old, and has been with me for several months now and on antibiotics and good food. She is MUCH better, fattened up, and spunky.
My goal is to give her some feel good time, she's had it so rough, and deserves to know someone cares, she does belong, she is loved.
She is currently caged, but a large area, so she is not suffering, but would love nothing more than to give this little girl time in a real home.
If there is someone, special person out there, who has a pos kitty and wants a companion, or had and lost an felv+ kitty, maybe you can find room in your heart and home for Baby. She adores attention, and to be told she is beautiful, and a good girl. She reacts by flipping on her back with a big pidgeon sounding purr and air muffins non-stop. Especially when she is told she is a GOOD GIRL! This is what shows in the 2nd pic, her paws are blurry from non-stop air muffins :)
There is no way to know how long she has to live, it could be years from what I see, she has a will to survive, and her spunk and playfulness says she feels good.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.
Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
