Peggy came to us after being a neighborhood kitty for at least a year. She was very friendly with people she was comfortable with but as she has a partial rear leg amputation, outside life isn’t ideal for her.

she also has long thick fur that had lots of mats. It took some time to gain her trust but once I did she’s very sweet. Her fur will require regular grooming. She’s doesn’t always agree but is mostly cooperative. She prefers use of a grooming comb.

I pick her up and pet her and she’s perfectly fine with that.

she is interested in going outside so a catio would be great for her.

â€‹she likes ice cubes in  her water and loves  treats/churus. Great for bribery to comb her!

She has not a fan of other cats while in her foster home. Another cat would be ok as long as they gave her space.

she has been with a foster with large  dogs and she was fine with them.

I wouldn’t recommend a home with small children.

With the partial leg amputation, a normal or low entry litter box would be best for her. She can jump on the couches and chairs with no problem.

The vet who examined her estimates she’s around 3 years old.
