Gussie is a very handsome teenager. He is super playful and loves to curl up and sleep on your lap. If he truly is not ready to fall asleep, he will think it is play mode and will start biting and attacking your hand. Since he takes his playtime very seriously, his foster mom will take him off her lap and allow him back once he is truly ready for a nap. From the day that Gussie could take his first steps, he would go after his foster mom’s feet as she tried to walk. He was rescued with his three siblings along with three mom when they were two weeks old.
Gussie and his sister Fern were adopted when they were just a few months old but had to be returned due to a family medical emergency. Since Gussie plays a little too rough with his siblings, we would suggest that he goes to a home as a single cat or with a cat that is older than him and playful. We suggest lots of toys, like the ones on a stick or laser pointer.
Gussie has been raised in a foster home with other cats, three large dogs and with a toddler. The foster home has a dog door so he has been indoor/outdoor. He will do fine as an indoor only or indoor/outdoor kitty.
Gussie is sure to add lots of love and entertainment into your life.
