Meet Besa, a sweet loving cat with your typical feline attitude. She was named Besa, the Spanish word for kiss, because of her unique cleft palette that results in her sticking her toungue out at you at all times. Besa loves to lounge about the house hiding in restful dark spaces or laying out in the sunlight. She enjoys playing with toy mice, watching strangers walk by on the street at night, and pestering her foster parents to give her snacks. She is vocal and will chat back and forth with you if given the opportunity, which always makes her foster parents laugh. She does well with anyone who enters the home and enjoys meeting new people, but she will most likely take time to acclimate and feel comfortable in a new space.
She is a wonderful companion and would do well in a quiet household that is looking for a lifelong cuddle buddy. You couldn’t ask for a better pal. Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato. Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend.
