Adoption Fees

$200 for kittens up to one year
$160 for cats over one year

All cats have been:

-  Spayed/neutered
-  FVRCP vaccinated
-  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults)
-  Dewormed
-  Flea treated
-  Microchipped

Tyson is the sweetest cat ever.  He is super friendly and loves to be with people.  This love bug close to 3 years old.  He came into rescue dirty and beaten up a bit.  Tyson had an abscess on his upper leg and into his shoulder.  He was such a trooper with the vet, did great with having the minor surgery to drain it and he tolerated the hot compresses really well.  He has one broken tooth & has likely had a hard life out on the streets.  He's very happy to be in a home and purrs like crazy.  Tyson is FIV+ which means he has a compromised immune system so he needs to be an indoor only cat.  FIV+ cats can live with other cats as FIV is transmitted through deep tissue bites, not surface play bites.  A lot of male cats transmit it to one another when they fight during mating season.  Tyson started in a temporary foster home until his medical needs were taken care of.  He made himself right at home there and when his foster mom had guests over, he just hung out with all of them. He  is now transferred to his regular foster home where once again he made himself comfortable and acted as if he has always lived there.  Tyson is a lounger cat, a lap cat, a purr machine and the biggest love ever!  Tyson is guaranteed to fill your heart with so much love and joy.  He would do extremely well as a emotional support animal due to his gentle demeanor and his love of cuddling with people.  Tyson still has some play in him and loves the laser light pen.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
