Adoption Fees

$200 for kittens up to one year
$160 for cats over one year

All cats have been:

-  Spayed/neutered
-  FVRCP vaccinated
-  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults)
-  Dewormed
-  Flea treated
-  Microchipped

Ping was rescued in Vallejo along with his siblings.  He is the last of his litter in need of finding a forever home.  Ping's eyes were ulcerated out of their sockets when he was rescued.  His eyes, sunk into his head as a natural healing process.  He had been taken to UC Davis when first rescued but he was too little for surgery so this is how his body healed on its own.  His eyeball sockets looks like there is nothing there.  He is completely blind, but do not tell him that as he has no idea.  Ping lives in a foster home with other cats and with dogs.  He plays with toys, will follow you as he can really hear your footsteps, he plays with other kittens and he has no problems using a litter box, eating or drinking.  You can hear Ping's purr when you are a good distance from him.  He will purr in your arms, loves to be held and loves to play.  Ping would love to be adopted with his buddy Wyatt.  He already knows Wyatt and Wyatt will show Ping the ropes and where everything is located in a new home.  As long as Ping has another kitten or cat that can show him where everything is, he will do great.

Ping will always have clear sneezes and eyes that have clear tears.  The tears may go away once his body has completely absorbed his eyes.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
