Adoption Fees

$200 for kittens up to one year
$160 for cats over one year

All cats have been:

-  Spayed/neutered
-  FVRCP vaccinated
-  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults)
-  Dewormed
-  Flea treated
-  Microchipped

Pummelo is a hoot!  He is growing in confidence every day.  He would thrive in a home with a family that understands he needs lots of attention and positive reinforcement so his confidence continues to grow.  He would be great with another kitten to play with, and would most likely grow comfortable with small children. He is definitely still a kitten, and loves to run and chase the laser light.  He bats around ping pong balls, and foil balls, and uses the scratching post like a champ. He is so much fun to watch when he gets running after the laser light...he's obsessed!  He purrs when petted or picked up...and sometimes just when he sees you coming.  If you play with him on his level, like while lying on the floor, he will crawl over and around you, and sometimes just lean up against you to catch his breath (before taking off after a toy again).  He loves kitty treats, and is very gentle in taking them from your hands.  

Pummelo has seen and sniffed one of my older cats, and has seen my large dog but not interacted with her.  She shows interest in the dog, but gets puffy if she comes too close...I think eventually Pummelo would grow accustomed to my dog (whose only interest in her is his leftover food!).  I think given slow introductions, he will be fine with both cats and calm dogs.

Adoptions Events on Saturdays:  

Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm

Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
